Our sanctuary in the heart of Cape Town’s inner city offers a comprehensive yoga program led by seasoned instructors dedicated to your practice. Explore our full-time yoga program, featuring a variety of styles and levels to suit every practitioner.

Habitus regularly hosts a variety of Yoga gatherings through regular thematic events, workshops, and trainings tailored to deepen one’s practice. All complemented by our associated body therapies and treatments designed to complement your yoga journey.

Programme

Vinyasa Yoga classes - you will experience a dynamic and fluid practice that synchronizes breath with movement. Move through sequences of postures (asanas) that build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness while harnessing the power of pranayama (breath) and mindfulness. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the flow, allowing you to find your own best yoga and inspiring self-expression in an enlivening group practice. Suitable to all levels.

Beginners Yoga classes provide a nurturing and supportive environment for anyone new to yoga. Our instructors will guide you through foundational poses, teach breath awareness, and help you develop a strong foundation. You will be guided through each step with clear instructions and modifications as needed to develop stamina, flexibility and self-awareness on your yoga journey.

In addition to group classes, we also offer Private Yoga classes with Tam Sullivan. Tam brings a gentle and supportive teaching style that meets you where you are. Whether you're new to yoga or looking to refine your skills, Tam's one-on-one or semi-private sessions (for two people) provide the perfect opportunity to grow and connect with your practice on a deeper level.

Men’s bodies are built differently, and so are their yoga needs. Our BROGA class is designed specifically with men in mind - focusing on strength, flexibility, and mobility in a way that works for you. Join us every Friday morning in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can move, stretch, and breathe at your own pace.

We are proud to present a new offering in collaboration with Acro Cape Town: AcroYoga! Led by Gaby and Isobel, experienced Acro Yoga and aerial instructors, this class integrates strength-building exercises with partner work to enhance body awareness and confidence. Acro Yoga is accessible to all, regardless of age or fitness level - you'll be surprised with what you can achieve! Come solo or with a friend, and discover how AcroYoga makes movement fun, inclusive, and empowering.
